About Ann

Ann Pham practices in the areas of immigration, employment, and business law. Ann is licenced to practice law in New York, USA, and Alberta, Canada.

In immigration law, she is dedicated to serving clients across North America and globally with applications for employment authorization, permanent residence, and citizenship. Ann has significant, diverse experience across many industries and has worked with businesses, individuals, and families to achieve their immigration goals.

With employment law, Ann provides advice and representation to employers on a wide range of employment and labour matters, including employment agreements, executive compensation, workplace policies, employment standards, disability matters, human rights and the duty to accommodate, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, and terminations. She also advises individuals on wrongful dismissal, severance, and contractual matters.

Ann is also a member of our business law group. She assists with the incorporation and organization of Canadian and U.S. business entities, reorganizations, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She also conducts due diligence, assists with drafting shareholder agreements, and documents commercial arrangements with a view to protecting our clients’ interests, particularly in cross-border matters.

One advantage of working with Ann is that she truly is a cross-border lawyer. She was born and raised in Calgary and completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Studies at the University of Calgary. She moved to New York and completed her Juris Doctor Degree at New York Law School. Since graduating and qualifying to practice law in New York and Alberta, Ann’s consistent focus has been on cross-border legal matters.
